It’s never just a straight line

So this happened:

fibre-ready-to-go
Fibre from the stash, perfect for my Windward.*

but then this happened:

broken-bobbin
The last empty bobbin. This is my sad face.

so of course this happened:

new-bobbins
What? I didn’t have any wood glue. Besides, clearly I did not have enough bobbins.

and now this can happen:

sample-skein
Test skein, ready for its bath.

 

*The fibre is 50/50 merino/yak. This whole process is going to be a delight.
