Meltwater is a generous, squooshable scarf with an integrated i-cord border along each side. This pattern uses knit, purl, slipped stitches, and 2-stitch cables. Instructions for working the cables without a cable needle are included. The stitch patterns are charted only.

Finished size: 8.5in/21.5cm wide x 78.5in/199cm long

Yarn: Brooklyn Tweed Quarry (100% Targhee-Columbia wool; 200 yds/183m per 3.5 oz/100g): 4 skeins, OR 766 yds/700m chunky weight yarn

Needles: US10½/6.5mm

Gauge: 19.5 stitches and 18.5 rows = 4 inches in pattern stitch
